Cindy's Carmel Bugles
Cindy Carlson brought these to our last meeting and they were so addictive and yummy!
1 stick margarine
1 cup brown sugar
12 oz Bugles
1/4 cup light Karo syrup
Mixed nuts (optional, I do not use)
Heaping 1/4 tsp baking soda
Preheat oven to 225 degrees and spray large pan with Pam. Mix together margarine, brown sugar, and Karo syrup and microwave. Stir together once the margarine has melted and microwave for a total of 2-4 minutes just until it starts to boil. Add baking soda and pour over Bugles and nuts.
Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on wax paper to cool.
