Illinois Valley Quilters' Guild

Where Illinois Valley quilters come to learn, build friendships, and have fun!

Service Quilt

The IVQG completes two community project quilts each year. The members complete the quilt and donate it to an organization that has requested a quilt and followed the guidelines.

To apply for a service project quilt:

  • Fill out a Quilt Request Form. You can download and print one HERE.

  • When completed, send the form to or mail to Illinois Valley Quilter's Guild, PO Box 1001, Ottawa, IL 61350.

    • The form requires explanation of the purpose of the organization and the intended use of the funds to be generated from the raffle drawing.

  • Send a follow-up letter with the amount that the quilt raised for your charity.

Note: The organization receiving the quilt is responsible for any tickets, advertising, etc. necessary to raffle or auction the quilt.

The IVQG 2019 Service Quilt will benefit the Ottawa Historical and Scouting Heritage Museum. Raffle tickets are on sale now at the Museum!

The Illinois Valley Quilters' Guild’s 2018 charity quilt donation to the Dusty Rhodes Foundation (Streator, IL) raised $1658! The money will be used to transport over 30 people to rehab. Thanks, everyone, for all your help with this project!

 "Star by Star"
